How to Activate Your Xfinity Mobile Phone:

Here are the steps to activate your new Xfinity Mobile phone and SIM card:-

Step 1 – Unbox your new phone and make sure you have all the accessories, including the Xfinity Mobile SIM card. Insert the Xfinity Mobile SIM card into your phone.

Step 2 – Log in to your Xfinity Mobile account or create a new profile, as discussed. Visit the official website: https://www.xfinitymobile.com/activate through your web browser on your laptop, Android mobile, iPhone 15, or other version.

Step 3 – Select the phone you want to activate from the list. If you are transferring your existing number, enter your primary carrier’s PIN and account number. If you prefer a new phone number from Xfinity Mobile, select “I want a new number.” If you are using a new number, you will get email confirmation.

Step 4 – Click the “Activate” button to start the activation process. Wait about 8-10 minutes for the activation to complete. After activation, you will receive a confirmation email if you request a new phone number.

How to Activate an Existing Xfinity Mobile eSIM Line:

Step 1 – First, Go to xfinity.com/mobile/my-account/devices.>Click “Replace Your Device.” >Select “Bring Your Own.”

Step 2- Now, Select your Device for Transfer, enter your IMEI Number, and start the Transfer ».

Note – You can use eSIM Quick Transfer for any version of Iphone Mobile.

Step 3 – Choose an iPhone as the device type, then enter its IMEI. The IMEI can be found in the iPhone’s packaging or on the SIM tray if it has one.

Step 4 –Turn on your iPhone and follow the onscreen setup instructions. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. This is necessary to download the eSIM profile. Check for a push notification. If you see a push notification that says “Xfinity Mobile Cellular Plan Ready to be Installed,” tap on it to download the eSIM profile.

Note – If you don’t see a push notification, you can also manually install the eSIM profile. Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan > Enter Details Manually to do this. In the SM-DP+ Address field, type in gsmacct.vzw.otgeuicc.com. Leave the other fields blank. Tap “Next” and follow the instructions.

How to Activate a New Line With eSIM:

To activate a new line with eSIM, you will need to:-

  • Receive your confirmation email.
  • Make sure your device supports eSIM and is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

 Method 1 – URL: 

  • Go to your device’s settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan > Enter Details Manually > Enter “gsmacct.vzw.otgeuicc.com” in the SM-DP+Address field. Leave the Activation Code and Confirmation Code fields empty. Tap “Next” to proceed.

Method 2 – Scan QR code : 

  • Go to your device’s settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan and scan the QR code provided by Xfinity.

Method 3 – Push notification: 

  • Go to your device’s settings and select “Xfinity Mobile Cellular Plan Ready To Be Installed.” This will take you to the Activate eSIM screen. Tap “Continue” at the bottom, and then tap “Done” at the bottom of the Cellular Setup Complete screen.
  • If you are transferring from a nanoSIM device to an eSIM device, do not insert the old nanoSIM card into the new device.

How To Install Nano SIM Card

Step 1 – Turn off your phone. > Locate the SIM card slot on your phone. It is usually located on the side or back of the phone.

Step 2 – Use a SIM card ejector tool or a straightened paperclip to open the SIM card slot.

Step 3 – Carefully remove the old SIM card, if there is one. Insert the nano-SIM card into the SIM card slot. Make sure that the gold contacts on the SIM card are facing down. Close the SIM card slot. Turn on your phone. Finish.

How to Do eSIM Quick Transfer

To perform an eSIM Quick Transfer, you will need to use www.xfinitymobile.com/mobile URL:

  • Two iPhones that both have iOS 16 or newer software.
  • The cellular plan that you want to transfer to your new iPhone.

Here are the steps to perform an eSIM Quick Transfer:

Step 1 – Turn on your new iPhone or Older Iphone and go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan.

Step 2 – Select the cellular plan that you want to transfer. Tap Transfer to confirm the process. If you are asked for a verification code, enter the one that appears on your new iPhone. Your eSIM will be active, and the previous SIM card (physical or eSIM) will be deactivated.

Note – If you don’t find a list of numbers, tap Transfer From your Old iPhone. It requires both devices to have iOS 16, 17 or more.

Step 3 – You must wait for the confirmation message, “Finish Setting Up Your Carrier’s Cellular Plan.” Your previous SIM will get deactivated when the new cellular plan on your new iPhone activates.

Note – You can also convert a physical nanoSIM card to an eSIM on your compatible iPhone. To do this, go to Settings > Cellular > Convert to eSIM. If you can’t see it, contact the Carrier team or use the QR Code.

Lastly – Once you have completed the eSIM Quick Transfer, you can remove the physical SIM card from your old iPhone.

Activate BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) on Xfinity Mobile:

To Activate BYOD on Xfinity Mobile and activate your phone, you will need to do:-

Step 1 – Switch your phone number:-

  • Complete the transfer process for the contact details, which may require information from your previous service provider’s bill and billing address.
  • Choose “I want a new telephone number” only if you need a new one.

Step 2 -Activate your Xfinity SIM card:-

  • Choose “Activate SIM” from the drop-down menu to activate your Xfinity Mobile phone number.
  • Once the activation process is completed, you will receive a notification in your email.

Step 3 -Change your old SIM card:-
